As TransCanada marshalls up to build the “southern” leg of that great political football — the Keystone XL Pipeline — there are thousands ready to assume new jobs.

But this is all temporary.

According to a KUHF report, after this puppy is finished, all of these pipe fitters, welders and whatnot will go back to their hometowns — leaving our unemployment rate the same as they left it.

High. Real high.
